How these guides get made
Has KindlyKiddo tested everything it recommends?
No, and I’d rather say so up top. When my family has used something, the guide says Hands-on tested and you’ll see our own photos. Most picks are research. I read the listing and the maker’s instructions, check recall records, and look for the complaints owners keep repeating.
How does KindlyKiddo make money?
Some links go to Amazon with an affiliate tag. If you buy through one, I may earn a small commission. It costs you nothing extra, and it doesn’t change which product ranks first.
Who reviews the guides?
Me. I’m Matt, a Seattle dad of two boys, six and three. Nothing goes live until I’ve looked at the shortlist, the links, the photos and the wording.
Do you check for recalls?
Every week. The recall tracker pulls federal recalls on children’s products from CPSC, NHTSA and FDA, and the guides for helmets, sleep gear and other safety-sensitive stuff link to it.
